From the battlements of Stirling Castle looking northwest over the meandering Forth toward the Wallace Memorial, Stirling University and Dumyat.

This image has been subject to quite a bit of adjustment. I exposed for the mountains in the background and sky. The foreground, under cloud was too dark. Mainly, the river, monument and cliffs were brightened.

During the administrations of Presidents Wilson, Harding, Coolidge, and Hoover, the National Photo Company supplied photographs of current news events in Washington, D.C., as a daily service to its subscribers.
